1. a small musical instrument with metal reeds, played by exhaling and inhaling through a set of openings; mouth organ.
2. a) a kind of glockenspiel having glass plates, metal bars, or the like. b) a musical instrument consisting of a set of glasses played by the application of the finger to the moistened rims; glass harmonica.
